On Oct. 29, officers responded to the area of Franklin Avenue on the report of non-criminal property damage. Upon arrival, the victim stated a shopping cart struck their personal vehicle, and scratches were observed along with a dent on the passenger side of the vehicle. There was also damage to the passenger-side mirror. It was possible that wind caused the cart to hit the vehicle, which was parked facing north on Franklin Avenue. The shopping cart was gone prior to police arrival. No further action were taken.
